Fact: There are more people who claim membership in a church now than in any other point in Christian history. And it’s not just raw numbers, a larger percentage of the population identifies as active than is typical in any other historical period. Religious blowhard posturing aside, we live in a remarkably religious period of history. Now I’d like someone to tell me where the non-adherents are. Map of religion in the U.S. on mbvc:
