What does that mean, anyway?

Um, huh? Seriously? I mean, I know NYC subways are nuts, and I agree with the Gothamist that the first rules of subway riding are “do not talk to anyone” and “don’t look anyone in the eye.”
But this seems to go too far. Then again, 2 weeks after I moved away from Manhattan someone used a chainsaw on unsuspecting folks one stop south of my home subway stop.
