Yesterday on twitter I noted that my feed was not a ringing endorsement for humanity. To boil it all down to a few things:

- Racism. I saw a lot of racism yesterday. In person. From politicians. From the news. From juries. It’s still alive and well and in your neighborhood.

- MPAA issues statement against SOPA blackouts. Really guys? The statement is just sad. I honestly can’t believe they believe they printed that. In public. How embarrassing.

- Paula Deen, like many Americans, believes that taking medication is an acceptable substitute for taking care of yourself. Y’all, we don’t have to eat well or get any exercise if we can just pop this teeny little pill!

Also, if one more person says DIABEETUS to me when I’m trying to be serious about diabetes, I’m going to not talk to them for a while.

- Congress is depressing. Every day. Not because of how they vote (well, sometimes) but because of how it works/doesn’t work.
