This right here is consumerism at its very worst. “This” is the Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork bag, which costs $52,500. It’s a limited edition (only 29) bag made from other old Louis Vuitton bags.
Face it, this bag is really ugly. You’d not buy this for looks or because you like it, but instead because of the name and/or cost, or because of how few were made. Buying this fugly bag states “I have lots of money and I’m not afraid to waste it.”
Why am I not surprised that Beyonce Knowles has one? She’s a classy girl, right? No pointless shiny things for her.
