Summer 2008 Movies
Lots of potentially good movies coming out this year, and given that I always forget what’s happening, I thought I’d provide myself with a list. This website has all the upcoming movies listed with trailers. Here’s my list, with commentary. Iron Man: good, very enjoyable, love Mr Downey Speed Racer: meh Narnia / Prince Caspian: *squee!* the last one was excellent. excited!...

As a fundraiser interested in tech, this is incredibly interesting.  I wish I could’ve seen how they did it internally.

The article on abandoned hotels led me to this Wikipedia article on a place in Austraila.  ONE permanent resident, ONE building left in town, THREE hours from the nearest town.  Wow.

It’s the size of Texas!?!?  That would be the floating plastic heap called the North Pacific Trash Gyre?  It’s pretty disturbing there’s a small continent of plastic floating out there in the Pacific Ocean.  Vast vistas of trash, currently being studied, hard to see via overhead photos (because so much is under water).

Good, now I don’t have to plan Life Beyond Flickr. Cause I would have bailed.  I hate Microsoft and Steve Ballmer is a giant braying jackass.
